HTC is not cooled by the failure of Chromebooks and would work on a terminal mixing Chrome and Android OS.
These days, the news is pretty grim for Chromebooks , these netbooks running Chrome OS - the operating system centered on Google's web browser. Indeed, the first two partners in Google on this one point, Samsung and Acer, saw sales currently very disappointing and agree reductions on these machines to try to sell on the end of this year from 25 to 30,000 parts delivered .
Nevertheless, the Taiwanese manufacturer HTC is not discouraged by the bad news and would be in the process of developing a terminal capable of running in both Chrome and Android OS.
Between tablet and netbook, the terminal would have a HTC touch screen and adopt an innovative format. We do not know for now, but it seems that the idea of HTC is to provide a ChromeBook on ARM architecture, both models released so far with a processor Intel Atom.
